Track missing payouts with Shopify Payments.

Shopify Payments now provides bank links for paid payouts. Bank links are unique payment identifiers that our partners create to help you track missing or delayed payouts. If an expected payment hasn’t arrived in your bank account but is marked as paid in Shopify, you can contact your bank for an update and provide a bank link. Simply go to Finances > Payouts > Payout Details (click on the payout) and you’ll see the bank link.

Exclude 40% more existing customers from ad campaigns with Shopify Audiences v2.4.

Shopify releases Shopify Audiences v2.4 with a new audience type, improved Retargeting Boost audiences, and enhanced algorithms to improve ad performance. The new audience, Existing Customer Plus, allows merchants to exclude lifetime existing customers from search campaigns, leading to more efficient ad spend. With millions of commerce data on Shopify, the Existing Customers Plus audiences help merchants exclude an average of 40% more customers from targeting than the advertising platform’s standard lists. These audiences can also be used in remarketing campaigns to re-engage existing customers. You can learn more about this new audience type in the Shopify Help Centre. In the previous version of Shopify Audiences v2.3, Retargeting Boost audiences showed 2x more orders for every marketing dollar spent on retargeting compared to the next most effective tactic. Retargeting Boost audiences now perform 50% better compared to version 2.3. Shopify Audiences helps merchants find more customers on the best advertising platforms, reduce customer acquisition costs, and get more return on ad spend with custom audiences based on millions of commercial data points available only in Shopify. The following updates are available in Shopify Audiences v2.4:

  • Exclude an average of 40% more customers from ad campaigns using Existing Customers Plus audiences compared to the advertising platform’s standard lists
  • Increasing the performance of Retargeting Boost audiences by 50% compared to version 2.3
  • Add Meta Retargeting Boost and Prospecting audiences to ad sets directly in the Shopify Audiences app
  • View ad set usage for Meta audiences directly in the Shopify Audiences app
  • Get improved guidance on audience export and troubleshooting issues
