Validate shipping addresses in Admin. On the Companies, Customers, Draft Orders, and Shipping Labels pages, addresses with potential problems, such as invalid zip codes, are automatically validated when changes are made. Suggestions are offered to correct these issues quickly and accurately to minimize delays and delivery failures.
\nManaged Markets now offers an address correction service on all labels. This is a new service that will help improve address accuracy and ultimately reduce the number of returned parcels.
\nHow it works.
\nAll Managed Markets labels undergo address verification during order processing.
\n* Orders with valid addresses will be available for immediate fulfillment.
\n* Orders with invalid addresses will be placed on hold for Managed Markets to verify and correct within 1 business day.
\n* Orders will be shipped in one of two states: “Address Corrected” or ‘Address Error’, where the recommended next step is to contact the customer to correct the address.
\nIf you want to opt out of the free service, go to Shopify Admin settings: Markets > Preferences > Managed Markets. There, you can toggle the address correction service to the “Off” position. You can return the service to “Enabled” at any time.
